The Ford Family has been active in the Murfreesboro restaurant scene since the 1990s, starting with Karen Ford owning The Front Porch Café in downtown Murfreesboro. Eric Ford started working for his mother while still in high school and learned the value of preparing food that customers loved and providing a warm and hospitable experience.

In 2008, Karen Ford opened Goodness Gracious on Northfield Boulevard with a menu consisting of Front Porch Café favorites, and new additions from Eric Ford who began to take a leading role in the kitchen. After several successful years, Karen Ford bought the historic Readyville Mill in Readyville, TN where Goodness Gracious operated for nearly 10 years.

In 2018, Eric and Nicole Ford purchased Goodness Gracious from Karen Ford and began plans to move the restaurant back to Murfreesboro. Many people loved the rustic and historic Readyville Mill, however, Eric and Nicole felt that an updated restaurant space and more convenient catering production would be beneficial to customers and the restaurant staff.

Eric and Nicole are very excited to begin this new chapter in their family business and hope that you will join them for your favorite dishes or discover new and exciting menu offerings that will be available.
